Newspapers are full of $4/gallon gas and news that more than 70,000 Coloradans might have their power turned off. Now there is more bad news on energy. Taxes will rise by 137% under Governor Ritter’s plan.
The big tax hike that Governor Ritter is pushing is going to be big trouble for us.
The Governor and the special interests have dreamed up this $321 million tax hike to pay for a bunch of pet political projects. Now the newspaper stories say we’ll end up paying the bill.
Of course, you don’t have to read the newspaper to know that. We always pay the bill for the politicians tax schemes.
Even so, the newspaper stories make it clear – Governor Ritter’s massive new energy tax will just be passed right on through to us.
The Governor’s tax dream will be the taxpayers’ nightmare.
People are worried about higher prices. It won’t be a pretty picture. Groceries, gas at the pump and heating bill will shock us all this winter. We don’t need that. Prices are already high enough.
Let’s be honest. If Governor Ritter gets his way, a $321 million dollar tax hike is headed our way.
